Our haunts will hit your psychological nerve points in ways you may not even realize. Traditional haunt actors pop out, roar and go away. Our actors will create the illusion of danger and not only scare you, but disturb you. We deliver the true emotional "roller coaster" ride. The Founders: Shawnna R-Cady is the Owner/Director of Darkest Dreams Entertainment. Started performing in haunted houses in high school and later co-directed a haunt for Scream At The Beach in 2004 and Directed Screamland in 2006. She has worked as a performer, actor, singer, photographer, graphic designer and professional make-up artist for over 15 years. She is a natural perfectionist with an eye for detail and a "hard to impress" stance on entertainment especially haunts. This combined with a thrilling imagination has her leading the way in innovation and artistic direction. Jason R-Cady is the Producer/Co-director. With over 14 years of performing and building experience he has worked for many companies on stage and in television. He co-directed at Screamland in 2006, Directed an attraction at Scream At The Beach in 2004. In 2003 he ran an attraction for Gresham City Parks called the Creep Show Carnival. Combining Latex and other Special FX he leads the team of producers for this new haunt. Is Darkest Dreams Entertainment a Cult?? We have been accused of such. We just really love haunting, We are not in this for the money, we are in this for the thrill of the haunt! We are close to our cast members and have become one big family of misfits. All of us live Halloween 24/7 all year long. The haunts you will see us create are intended for true fans of horror. Most people don't realize how much it takes to put on these kind of shows. It can take 3 months to a year just to set up the props for a haunt. So it takes allot of love to stick with it for the long hours and stressful days one has to endure in order to put on this kind of show. But when you get your first scream... you know it's all been worth it. If you have never haunted before you will never understand the pure adrenaline and thrill of scaring the crap out of someone!
